The rules of gaining players:
1) A player may only be added to a new team if their projected points score is higher than the current projected points score of a player on the team.
2) Players must be exchanged like for like by position, so a QB for a QB and a TE for a TE.
3) There is one spot available for the injury reserve. When a player is placed on reserve, at their place in the waiver, the team with an injured player may take their replacement BEFORE using the waiver wire. The same is applied for taking a player off of the waiver wire with drops happening BEFORE using the waiver wire.
4) A player may be dropped from Injury Reserve if another player needs the IR spot or if their score returning to the team would be lower than their current roster positions.
4) Suspended players do not need to be dropped however use a roster spot instead of the injury reserve. Teams may only keep one suspended player at a time.
5) Players may only keep 1 player on a bye week per position with the exclusion of defence and special teams. In a case where both defences are on a bye, a trade must be enforced to ensure a playable defence is available starting with the next team in the waiver wire order. The team trading a defence NOT on a bye will also take the next available waiver pick for the traded team as compensation. multiple players on a bye in the same position must enforce going to the waiver wire to exchange.
6) If a player is unavailable for extenuating circumstances, the team owed the player can draft at that position at any time during one of their future selections for free.
7) Teams who cannot improve pass their waiver selection and go first when they can improve.
8) At the end of the season, each team in accordance with the draft board of the next year must forefit one defence to the pool for the next season. Teams may retain all other positional players providing they are on the draft board for the next year.
